Hello my lovelies! Well, it’s officially December and you know what that means, the fireplace is a cracklin’, the hot cocoa is a brewin’, and you know Spotify’s ‘Holiday Pop’ playlist is on shuffle all month long (I started listening the day after Halloween whoops). As the holiday cheer is in full swing, it seems like every store and every street in town is adorned with the most amazing, dazzling lights and decorations, and I thought, why not do the same? Read on to see how I like to style myself during the holidays…
Outfit 1: Fuzzy Snowflakes
Even if it isn’t cold where you live during the holiday season, snow(flakes) just seem to give off those holiday vibes, don’t they?
This outfit is the definition of cozy, and it’s centered around the cutest sweater I’ve ever thrifted! It is in the prettiest baby blue color with a subtle, mock turtleneck, and has the most delicate line of snowflakes knitted onto the chest.
I decided to pair it with a long, checkered skirt, some sparkly pink socks, and my new sneakers I just splurged on over Thanksgiving break (#treatyoself)! I finished the look off with some (snowball?) buns and a bright pink lipstick to give it a nice pop of color.
Outfit 2: Businesswoman+biker+who+likes+to+hike (during Christmas :D)
‘Merry Christmas Ya’ Filthy Animal!’
I am so excited to finally be able to wear this Christmas sweater! It has knitted into it a quote from the classic Christmas movie, Home Alone, and not to mention it’s just so warm and fuzzy! I paired it with a plaid, oversized blazer to give the look more structure, my favorite sparkly bike shorts (because I cannot go a day without sparkles), and my trusted Timberlands to ground the look.
Top it off with some bright red, cat-eye glasses and my favorite thrifted Chanel handbag to keep the Christmas theme goin’!
